No use complaining about something that you can't fix, but the double chance does come with consequences, as the loser of Sunday's qualifying final ends up playing the winner of the Crows/Dons match next Saturday, thus gives them a six day break. Whereas the winner of the Crows/Don match get an eight day break.
Not much advantage for a top four team. Makes the necessity of the week off all the more important!
Though I'm unsure of the extra two day advantage versus interstate travel, as both the Crows and Dons will have been on the road two out of their last three matches.
Loser gets a 6 day break

A similar thing happened to us last year (7 v 6 day break) but we still beat collingwood. The message is - win the first final.
