Yes forget MG in another thread. That will be it if Lenny and Kosi are ok.

Big ice pack on the front of his knee after todays game. Could be anyting from bruising to PCL to patela. One thing is for sure; the club won't be wanting to talk about it this week !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

I think it should be 4 changes:

OUT: Hayes (inj), Dempster, McEvoy, Zac
IN: Ball, Gardiner, Geary, Max

But that's probably too many changes to do going into a big final, so hopefully Lenny's ok and we don't need as many.

I'd be inclined to swap Eddy for Geary...i think Geary does more with it....

But does he do more without it? Ross will take that into consideration just as much.

Much as I love Max, from all reports he was fair at best for Sandy yesterday and I thought Zac was good today. Won several 1-1 contests he had no right to

How could you drop Zac? the guy played his heart out today and showed heaps of courage, just about BOG in the 1st 3 qtrs

Eddy was heaps better than Dempster today. Zac was pretty good. The selectors will have a hard job IMO.

Assuming all are fit I would bring in Ball and Gardi for Dempster and McEvoy. And I'd draw lots among Armo, Geary, Eddy and Gwilt. I could make a case for any one of them.

Well Miller's goal (1st of game) was a direct result from Zac not being close enough to him (something Max would never do). I just think in a big game Max is a safer bet and a better stopper.

So Zac who was playing on Paul Johnson is at fault for Miller being loose??

Mate, you spent too much time watching Eddy! Zac was very good today, more like back to the pre-suspension form. One case of poor position/effort I seem to recal, may be the one you mention, but a lot of good stauff. I don;t think his spot is in jeopardy.

McEvoy stays. King (gulp) goes.

Ball for Dempster.

No other change.

Ball and MG in
Big Mac and someone else out

you need ruckmen who can influence ruck contests, so King over Big Mac

Personally I think today showed that we need Gwilt in that lead up half forward role.

We were really poor in the first half bringing the ball into forward 50 as we were bombing it long to Roo & very rarely getting it to him.

Gwilt must be in the mix to give that other option.

Agree totally! I'd probably also drop Zac, I know people on here are saying he played well today, but I squerm every time the ball goes near him!
Don't get me wrong, I don't want him delisted or traded, but fcuk I'd feel more confident with Max in the side!

Pies can go small up fwd which when they do.....Zac concerns me.....I personally find Max a better bet on the smaller lead up fwds IF hes 100%.

Dempster will be kept I reckon for when Didak goes fwd - you cant play a Baker on him.

IMHO

Ins: Ball, Gardiner, Max

Out: Eddy, McEvoy (King needs to perform,..), Dawson.

Thought King was absolutely sensational today.

Hard at it, strong in the ruck, got his hands on the footy around the ground.

Id rather a bloke that can kick a goal from 50 out instead of a guy 30 who sh---ts himself
