The moment: St Kilda needed only two kicks to take a two-goal lead in Sunday's thriller. Nick Dal Santo pounced on an Essendon error after 53 seconds to goal with the side's first kick. Then, as Dal Santo's kick sailed through, Nathan Lovett-Murray infringed against Sam Fisher, resulting in another goal without the ball returning to the centre.

It was the beginning of the end. I hate easy goals at the beginning of the game. You can almost see the players relax as if it is going to be a walk in the park. Goals that result from hard contested footy have the opposite effect.
