The biggest inclusion this week?

Post: # 795458Post gringo »

Channel 7 news reported that Barker was back in for the Saints this week. That would be an awesome inclusion in the finals and something I wish had happened in the old days more often.

But the point of this post is who would you want from our past list to include in September.

I would loved to see more Winmar magic ( if I cant have Barks) in finals and he would give a bit of an X factor.

I would be interested in other peoples ideas for inclusions

I'm with the Channel 7 news, I'd love to see Trevor Barker in the team - and Robert Harvey. If two Sainters ever deserved a premiership medal its them.

It would have to be Harves, purely because he is one of, if not the most deserving saint.

Surely you would have to include Burkey amongst those.

Give me a 1998 model Robert Harvey any day.

He would take the number one tagger every match and still absolutely dominate with 40 or so touches in today's footy. Hayes and Ball could be the pure inside mids with Harvey roaming in between. Montagna, Dal Santo and Goddard could run around without ever having to take one of the premier taggers.

ROBERT HARVEY A.K.A The Great Man, Banger, Harves, Ol' Man River...
384 games, 4 B&F's, 3 EJ Whitten Medals, St.Kilda Captain, 2 Time Brownlow Medalist, 8 Time All Australian, 2nd Highest Brownlow votes poller.... The greatest of ALL TIME!!

I'd like to see a bit of Tony Delaney magic from the back pocket...

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Absolutely, Roxanne. The two most deserving IMO, but then when I think about it the list grows, Aussie, Burkey, Stewie Loewe, Joffa Cunningham, Winmar........
The list could go on and on.

Trevor Barker .

Could have gone anywhere and made huge bucks way back when ,,,but didn't.

he was my first ever realization of someone who epitomized
"Fortius Quo Fidelius" .

What will be next from this club ?
