I would expect at least 6 changes next week with a few more players getting injured this week.backit wrote:Lets wait and see how everyong pulls up from today and also those who didn't come up for todays game. It maybe minor changes are made to next weeks team. I am sure Ross will listen to those who advised him on todays team.

Gee, to me it looked like the Hawk ran head first into Gwilt's arm, which hadn't moved an inch. A pretty soft report IMO, but you never can tell nowadays.kp83 wrote:Agreed...but he may get an enforced week off for that bump.rexy wrote:Interesting, I thought Gwilt was very good. Presented well, tackled and preassured and took the vall off the ground eith clean hands.
But, even though I thought Gwilt was ok, I don't think he'll get a game in the finals playing like he did today.
Of those who played today, those who look certain to play in the finals are Gardi, King, Max, Blake, Kosi, Schneider, Milne, Jones, Gram, McQualter and Ray
With 8 certainties to come back in, then there is only room for three out of Dawson, Raph, Dempster and Ball (Dawson still misses for mine, but it's an almost impossible one to pick).
Almost certain to miss, barring injuries to better players, are McEvoy, Gwilt, Geary and Armo. All four will be able to consider themselves extremely hard done by.
Steven was good, Begley was okish, but I wouldn't see either them as being considered in September on the basis of today's performances.
And I've said enough of what I think about Eddy

Armo was excellent...22 touches 10 or 11 tackles. Raking left foot. He takes Eddy's spot for sure. Capable of snagging a couple in september,as well as hurting them physically.
Give the two crumbers a week off next week,Milne and Schneider, they've earnt one. Give Steven another crack at it under the roof.

Ray, Mcqualter, Kosi and milne/schiender to have a rest next week.
keeping in Ball, Armo, Steven and Mcevoy.
then a number of Goddard, Gilbert, Roo, Dal, Fish, Hayes, Monty to come back in. would hate to pick the team the next week.
but then again, its a great problem to have. depth

So, given that Eddy was unlikely to have a spot in September, who are you actually expecting Armo to come in for? Ball? Dal? Lenny?jonesy wrote:Armo was excellent...22 touches 10 or 11 tackles.
