Might be why Ross opted to watch the VFL game on the Sunday instead of the Hawthorn game.

He had hamstring tightness but it would be stupid for him to play with that when others are missing with slight injuries as well.

an sms came in just before they switched to what ever is going on at the dome (the soccer??)
and it said something along the lines of why isnt maguire in?

thommo made the comment that the club made the call on why, pretty much said about the hammie.

i guess some wouldnt even know he has a twinge

Just saw this from the Saints Facebook page. Sucks because with all the outs he would have had a decent chance of playing.
Matt Maguire strained his hamstring at training this week which made him unavailable for selection

That's bizarre, I could have sworn I saw him with a bag of ice on it at Windy Hill Sunday...after he obviously strained it during the 2nd q...
