would be a shame as he's played some good football for sandringham this season (particularly before he was injured about a month back).

no shame in not being able to break into a team that has won 17 straight . he'd be a capable replacement for some players.

I would be surprised if he wasn't delisted

And he was a great small backman several years ago (before he tore both hamstrings unbelievably badly) . . . even now, you'd think he could play a role.

only played eight games before doing his hammy so hardly a mainstay of the team

His first year back, IIRC correctly was 2006, he was a very handy player, IMO he was always a genuine small defender and not a tagger which, rightly or wrongly is what RL was trying to turn him into...

Harsh, but between the minimum three players we have to draft and rookie elevations, players have to be delisted. A few tough calls to be made this year

Why state the obvious at this time of year?

Howard and Haruketu aren't on the main list so still need anther.

isnt begley on a 2 year contract. that would mean we would have to pay him out and with our salary cap tight that might not be an option

No to Begley IMO but there has to be more IMO because Zac would have to be promoted off the rookie list.

L Fisher is a dead set cert IMO, no pace and lacks penetration in his kicking

FWIW, I would be getting rid of Leigh Fisher, Eljay Connors and will have King and Max retired.

Promote Bakes and Lenny to the vets list.

Promote Zac and Miles to the senior list.

Delist Brad Howard and Khan Haretuku.

Trade our first / second rounder for a 22-23 year old player in trade week, this year's Schneider/ Ray.

And draft three players in the National Draft.

The big question for mine is Xavier Clarke... we have already given him a great deal of time to show his worth and IMO he hasn't captured those opportunities and with next year going to be for the most part a year of rehab and finding touch I'm not sure if he is going to be worth pursuing with.
