Armitage and Goose the best,yet both made errors.

Yep..very ordinary start by the Zebs...didnt bother using the wind advantage....trying to play cute footy and caught time and time again

Goose steady in defence but thats about it. The ball spent most of the quarter inside Ports 50...and they were kicking against a strong breeze

Much better the second half of the second quarter getting back within 6 points at halftime. A few contributions from the saints that quarter,Armo still the best I reckon.
Lynch does some nice things. He's going to be good for us. He's almost ready now as the 3rd forward. Has the smarts,and the intent,with better delivery to the forwards in the firsts,he's got to come into consideration.

Better quarter by the Zebs..a goal down at the main break

Lynch and Dempster good in the 2nd qtr..Lynch really looking like he'll be a player.

Begley and Miles drifting in and out in defence, Smith and Heyne a couple of nice things but also some clangers. Stanley not as good as previous weeks.

Saunter has been very quiet and as usual thats a barometer of Sandy's scoring ability.

I've been really impressed with the way Miles is rebounding out of defence. If he were at a lesser club, he'd probably be in the AFL already. We really are spoilt for choice in the backline. Goose and Dempster further emphasise that.

Half time.

Armo- most definately the best. Could see him getting a game in the seniors soon, exerting a lot of effort as well as good ball use. 12 disposals.

Maguire- playing solidly, his disposal is a bit average at times but getting himself into the game. 12 disposals also.

Gwilt- not doing a whole lot. his effort around the ball is what lets him down. 7 disposals.

Dempster- really picked up his game in the second quarter and kicked a great long goal. Tackling well.

Stanley looks to be not playing as well as in previous weeks. Begley doing some ok things, as well as Steven.

Overall not really the best game for our listed players.
