Why do I always get so nervous before a game?

I mean i expect us to win today - but there is always tat little doubt. What if?
It's Sunday morning and I was up at 7.40 am because I had to visit the bathroom. It doesn't make sense.

Anyway - it's been 2 long weeks since I've seen our beloved Saints. Can't wait. Hope to see some of you guys there.

im off to the shop for milk and the paper
then out into the yard for some whipper snipping and a bit of chainsawing.
then around 2ish its inside to light the fire, boil the kettle and kick back in the beanbag with a roaring fire going

I'm nervous too! Doesn't matter who we are playing... i get the butterflies.... right up until the bounce of the ball! I usually can't eat before the game because of my nerves.

Although i'm confident that we SHOULD win quite comfortably today, there is always a feeling that makes me never say that any win is a certainty, you still need to earn your wins in any sport and at any level of competition... they beauty of sport i guess

I guess we just gotta ride it out and hopefully come home with 4 pts and more importantly no injuries or suspensions.

i'm a bit toey up here in the bush also
Strange really , been following the Sainters forever
and have got pretty toey at finals time , but this year have been in the zone every week ...and it doesn't get any easier now we are 12 zip
I know I won't be as nervous next week .. er make that I hope I won't because at present I won't worry for the 1st time this year if we don't win
long as we give a good account

but but to today
I too have been out cutting firewood on the ranch , have got the fire roaring and the roast in the wood fired oven for later

Fridge stocked, and just having a little cool drink steadier now !
got Fox on and listening to ABC
set the tape up to record the action
All set !
