Round 13 Teams

Post: # 763159Post thequarry »

From St Kilda Football Club on Facebook:

"Round 13 team news coming in 10 minutes. Any guesses?"

We'll have to wait 10 minutes to find out exactly what that means...

Oh no but Armo has a broken collarbone. That Woodruff bloke heard it from the horses mouth. Said so. His source is bulletproof....

I thought the club had him on the injury list earlier this week (listed as two weeks)?

Can't see that happening Geary has been far more impressive in the games he has played than Armitage.

There seems a lot of hype about Armo on this site, when realistically he's probably only had one good game and the rest have been average.

Yes, they did

Maybe Armo is not as badly injuried as first thought....

Yeah, I agree, the Armo worship on here is odd....he really has proved nothing at AFL level....Geary on the other hand has been pretty good all year

I find these sorts of posts a bit annoying.

Is this a comment or a statement based on inside info? Please make this clear.

That said, I assume that it is the most likely outcome.

This might sound strange coming from someone whose username is based on him but I don't think Armitage has been that highly rated since his debut year and maybe some times during last season... IMO most people seem to care more about McQualter/ Geary and the ilk...

Can only hope that McEvoy is out, Blake into the ruck and 1 of Gwilt or raph onto a HFF

Baba, if I was posting based on inside info, I'd make it clear. Otherwise everything is an opinion. I just get tired of writing IMO in every post. Who else's opinion could it be.

Im not saying Geary's been bad, I just want him to get a rest so Armo can dominate with 30 touches and 4 goals.

He cant do that in a much poorer competition so how could he do it in the ones.

Maybe Armo needs to play so well at Sandringham that the Selectors have to pick him?

Until he does he's goning to be out of the senior team instead of in it.

So far most of the posters arguing for his inclusion seem to be doing so on the fact that he was a first round draft pick rather than his form warranting it.

Is there anybody in the senior team who is in on reputation rather than form?

They are not in. If it was a Saturday game they all would probably be emergencies.
