I can accept that past players and coaches with roles in the media will look favourably on their own club.
I'll even accept that a club president or two can commentate on their own club's games. Their allegiances are out in the open.
But how can it be that a supposed journalist who has never played a game for a league club be so blatant about who they support. I mean for god's sake they're about the only people in the bloody footy media who could be impartial.
I actually had to wikipedia Tim Lane to be certain that he hadn't played for Carlton at some time or other. (BTW check his bio. I mean, how dumb do you have to be to fail the first year at the University of Tasmania?)
