Slow Starts!

Post: # 752514Post saint1974 »

While a win is a win and we came back today we cannot afford to give a team like Geelong this start ,this is the difference between a good team and a great team!
Our fitness and skills came to the top in the second half, but we need to be game on for four quarters when we meet the Cats.
Anyway well done boys look foward to Milney Gards and Gilbo back next game.

young teams will come at us all guns blazing early on, it is the way we respond that will count and so far we have answered all challengers and in the end recorded almost an 8 goal win.

fine imo.

Yup, they gave it to us, but they couldn't keep it up.

It's a bit like watching Federer. Players come out and pinch a set, then he goes up a gear.

Good win. Good discipline. Great effort.

They did mention on foxtel that we had the word start written all around the rooms, so it was supposed to be our focus today. But on the other hand maybe it meant start as in we will give them a 5 goal start and win it from there
