That guy on the above right, what's happened to him? Caused a mini buzz pre-season and then haven't heard anything about him at all. Can someone let me know the story?

Been playing for the Sandy reserves mate.

Had a game where he got in the best and kicked 4, and kicked a couple of smaller bags as well (2 last week). Seems to be very talented and blessed with sublime skills, main issue seems to be with his size (very frail) and fitness base.

Hope this helps...

Cool, thanks heaps for that. Sort of assumed that must be the case because I haven't seen his name pop up in Sandy seniors nor any mention of him on injury lists. Cheers!

Size doesn't matter, just ask Robin Nahas

I think he kicked 4 in each of his first two games, and then he missed a game, had to attend a funeral in N.T. Has been quieter recently.although the seconds had a bye last week.

He still has a lot of us pretty excited however I don't think he would even be considered for a game until late next year at the earliest, he is a very long term prospect...

Still has me excited...however he was always a long term project player as:

*was playing in a much lower standard competition
*needs to adjust to "City" life after having come from an extremely "rural" life.. X brought him on stage in the SC last week but Ros was too shy to say anything and so X spoke for him
* is small and light. Needs some muscle before having to mix it with the big boys.

He needs to be developed...so lets give our coaches and Ross time.

He was nevera recruit to play senior football this year.

He is rookie..and may or may not succeed...but is definitely worth persevering with.

The thing about Choo Choo is that he's our first Aboriginal excitement machine potential for several years....we've seen other teams unearth their own black pocket rockets, so we just want the same.

It's a punt, but not much to lose given he's a rookie.

I have never seen a VFL reserves match, but one thinks that many of the Victorian rookies and a sprinkling of AFL players play in that comp.

Do the AFL rookies from WA play in your states reserves?

Choo Choo is exciting.

I hope we have the balls to give him the time he needs to develop.

He is seriously fast but there is more to footy than being highly skilled.

He will learn.

in perth the eagles and the dockers scatter their players all round the WAFL so they generaly all get to play in the seniors for the WAFL
