A bit different to Robert Shaw's effort on SEN when he found no room for any Saints. That in itself was not a big issue, but the fact that he found room for SIX Crows, when he admitted that the Carl/Adel game was the only match he hasn't seen!

Yep, took him just 2 games to get back into full swing after the little knee op. What a player!

I heard that thought itwas strange. He did find room for Joey on the bench. Shawy has picked him 4 times this year. Thought Fish might of got a spot after beating Brown.

The statistic might state that gram had a good game however his kicking efficiency is still not what I believe the football club would want from him, on the contrary he is a talent worth keeping out on the paddock and I for one trust the people we have in the offices, so here's to gram's kicking improving

I find it annoying they say Max held Fev to 2 goals. He held him to 1 goal, the other one was an interchange infringement, nothing to do with Max.

yeah, and the other goal was a pretty sharp pass from o'hailpin which no defender in the world coulda stopped, so really it was nothing to do with max, so that means he held him to no goals!

oh, but i guess fev shoulda kicked that one from about 35, so that was max's fault really, so that means we're back up to one goal again. and there was another one where betts had it and shoulda passed to fev and if the pass had of been good enough he probably woulda kicked the goal, so that makes two goals, i guess.

or else we could just look at the goals he actually kicked, which was 2. doesn't matter how he got 'em, that's just what the scoreboard says.

Didn't swap with Gilbert, Fev got a block from a teammate on Max... and still had to take as good a contested mark as you're ever going to see between 2 defenders.

You know you've done your job when to get a goal your opponent needs to:
a) be the beneficiary of an interchange free kick.
b) take that mark.

Gilbert did well to be heads up enough to follow Fev... though while he might have had to violate the laws of physics to do so, I'm not sure Max wouldn't have found a way to get a punch on that ball without the block :)

As we know, week after week, the forward that kicks more goals obviously played better and gave more to the team under the circumstances.

We crucify a team pushing for top 4, and get two players.

Geelong comfortably beat the second lowest team on the ladder (and only after a massive first quarter) and get five.

Look at it properly...you'll find its a good thing.

Geelong relied on its stars: Selwood, Chapman, Scarlett, Ablett to win a game against the worst team in the comp.

I thought of the same thing you did, but when you look at it...it was a very team-orientated game, none of our players were exceptionally sensational, but they were all good.
