All quiet from the jiggster for a wee while (who said "hallelujah for that!!!)
Just a wee note folks to say well done to those Saints on Sunday last. Eve and I were dying a thousand deaths trying to get the result!
We flew over the Grand canyon yesterday and the experience was awesome....but you know what? It'll be nothing compared to seeing Saints fans celebrating a flag (I do hope its gonna be our year!)
Hey Bruce, the Dennys Lumberjack slam brekky was ALL you said it would be! I played the slots and the wheel of fortune at Plane t Hollywood here in Vegas last night, but sad to say I'm still relying on my super!
I'll try and keep in touch while we're on "roaming" mode.
Keep the streak going for the old Jiggster!!!!

Enjoy San Franscisco Jiggster. It is one of my favourite places.

The cable cars, the hills, the bridges and the Bay... it is quite lovely.

Do try to see a show while you're there. The Broadway shows travel there as one of their main stops, and the prices are much less expensive.

Hey Jiggster, glad to hear you enjoyed Denny's.
While you are in Frisco look up a place called Tads on Powell St just up from the Cable Car terminus on the left side as you walk towards Market St.
Fabulous Steak, inexpensive and check out the size of the baked potato, you can almost play footy with it.
Oh and good luck to Everton next week, hope Tim Cahill scores a goal.

Hey Bruce! We were downtown last night and just happened to spot a joint called.....TADS!!!! T-Bone to die for!!!!! On the way into the city from the airport we passed candlestick park which is where the Beatles played their last live gig...in 1966! Everton in the cup final that year! All these references to "66" are weird, BUT I'm NOT getting carried away!!!
Thanks folks for the words about my "absence" BTW have got a new hat! an Indiana Jones replica from disneyland (I've also got the whip to get the cheers going!! )
Must go Chicago next!

In Chicago you must go to a restaurant called Carsons - famous for their ribs - there was a whole episode of M.A.S.H. devoted to that restaurant.

Alo for a steak dinner there are 2 great restaurants in Chicago:-
Smith and Wollensky
Ruth's Chris Steak House

ALso for an unbelievable view of the city go up to the bar on the top floor of the John Hancock Building.

Check out the Palmer House Hilton hotel and the streets surrounding it - it's like stepping into an episode of Elliot Ness & The Untouchables.

Also the EL - elevated railway line.

If you're into Jazz/Blues there are lots of amazing Clubs.
