B: baker , hudgton , gilbert

HB: s fisher , maguire , gram

C: montagna , hayes , ray

HF: goddard , riewoldt , dalsanto

F: milne , allen , koschitzke

FOLL: king , cousins , ball

INT: armitage , schneider , r clarke , blake

looks an awsome proposition with hope a number of things go our way.

- we draft cousins
- allen comes on to be the third target we are looking for up forward.
- a good run with injuries

You never know how some of these team selections will go and whether this particular combination will make the top 4...

It looks to me a bit too much like the team that struggled against quality opposition in 2008....

albeit with a couple of new recruits......

Will we pick up a player in the SSP window :?:

Due to Baker and Maguires injuries and lack of games this year i dont think they will be up to it next year and Gilbert is lacking AFL skills

Gilbert has the skills, albeit on the one side, but that's not the issue IMO...

He needs to get tougher at the contest and show more aggression

I also read that X has been given another 12 months. I know he's had a rough year with a few key issues both on-field and off-field but we mustn't forget his speed and agility.

There is certainly room for him on that list. I hope things turn around for him in 09.

That list does look quite tasty :D

Me three, that would be very nice, it would also be great if some of our past recruits could develop into 22 players such as Armo and Allen and maybe some show some reall god signs in McEvoy and Steven...

I reckon you could probably put a fork in Baker and possibly Goose - unfortunately.

Hope I am wrong.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

I felt gutted when Hamill fell to injury. I'll feel just as gutted if we lose Baker as well! Two tuff-nuts who we could always have done with! I honestly hope we haven't seen the last of Bakes!

B: R Clarke Hughton Baker^
HB: Maguire Koschitzke S Fisher
C: Gram Cousins Dal Santo
HF: Gilbert Goddard Schneider
F: Milne Reiwoldt McEvoy^
R: King Ball Hayes

Int: Blake Armitage X Clarke^ Montagna

Emerg: Ray Dempster Allen

Notes:
Rucks: King 70% McEvoy 20% Blake 10%. McEvoy to do ruckwork in F50 and King to sit a kick behind play

Guys with ^ are interchangeable with the named emergencies.

Assumes we get Cousins.

the position that has taken such a morphesis over the past few years to almost turn into a quarter-back set up the play behind the ball type roll
