Any news ??

With all the movements and Hawthorn appointing a 2nd midfield coach I kind of feel like we are getting left behind.

We've been slow to appoint so we've looked outside the normal AFL circles for coaches.

You should wait until saintsmedia can confirm but my source at the club has the box looking like this.

Head coach - Ross Lyon

Forwards - Gordon Bombay

Midfield - Patches O'Houlihan

Defence - Ernie Pantusso

Ah Coach!! Sadly missed is Coach from Cheers.

But sorry to rain on your parade, cowboy, but my mail says otherwise:

Forward/Beating the Flood Coach - Guus Hiddink

Midfield Coach - Herman Boone

Backline Coach - Coach Calhoun

The one time I start a serious thread and this is what I get.

It's lucky I'm going to Fiji for a week on Friday and am in wind down mode.

When there is no news, we've got to make our own news.

Ah, Fiji. Jealousy rises!

My source at the club say this position has been filled.

He's very keen on local talent and a bottom up approach through local schools etc.

I think he has changed to Digital, no need for early development.

FORMER North Melbourne player Peter German has emerged as a contender to coach Casey Scorpions. The VFL club entered the market for a new coach after Greg Hutchison confirmed last Wednesday that he would remain with St Kilda, the Pakenham-Cardinia Leader reports.

Casey offered the respected former Melbourne player the job “for as long as you want itâ€

Andrew McKay has just taken on a new role with the AFL as a liaison officer for the rules committee, or something of that nature.

Don't think he was there for an interview as an assistant coach.

Maybe he was attemting to explain the intricacies of teh MRP rulings - someting that no-one other then the Panel Members seem capable of understanding?

Take it as compliment fingers-- given what some on here can do to a thread it's good fun>

and apart from Hutchison being confirmed as continuing- you would think full time, and Lovell? continuing at Sandy there are no known additions
and two known moves- Rock and Barker,
