even better bring on list announcement time so I can settle into supporting again rather than feeling sad that someone is going ................

i cannot take trade week, all the rumours and speculation that either fizzle or happen and you never can tell which its going to be until 2pm friday. definatley my least favourite week of the football season.
i actually like it all the secret wispers the friends of friend the red hot tips and rumour after rumour its a good way to pass time till the long non footy break comes ...... this time of year offers so many possabilitys

it also offers a big fat deflated balloon of lost hope and oppotunites.

I still say trade week should coincide with the draft. Since almost every trade involves a draft pick or two going one way or the other, teams would be more likely to trade if they knew what they were getting. It's common sense too. If the player you wanted is gone, then trade the pick to another team who wants to move up. If you desperately want a player, trade with a team that doesn't want a player at that pick.
IMO it would be a better situation for the teams and players. It'd make the day much more complicated and probably longer too though.
