Up for TRADE????? !!

Post: # 658496Post Eastern »

This thread could be the research material for Greg (SUPLEMAX) Denham's next article in The Australian

There have been plenty of names bandied around as being up for trade this year, with many of them arriving at or departing from St Kilda. I thought it might be a good idea to compile a list prior to the trade period and see how many actually hapen. Those I've heard of or read about include;

Justin Koschitzke
Nick Dal Santo
Alan Didak
Andrew Lovett
Daniel Harris
Daniel Kerr
Mark Seeby
Corey Jones
Xavier Clarke
Robbie Warnock

Please feel free to add to this list (there are plenty that I've forgotten), but make sure you put their names up BEFORE any trades.

Personally, I don't think there will be many this year !!

I wouldn't mind Ben McGlynn, he has pace, bulk and is hard at the football.

Have heard Wocjisnki might be looking to leave afta being dropped for grand final. We'd be stupid not to try and get him if that's the case

Would any other club entertain Fiora? Nah, didn't think so.... so why the *** are we keeping him for? How the **** did he get a contract longer than one year. How the **** did he make the prelim final side??? What a running joke.

Someone in high places owes him something, no other reason why RL would consider him.

On a positive note, great to see lots of people entertaining GUGS from other clubs i.e Kangaroos try hards etc etc....just what we need, more rejects. Soon enough, we will become like Carlton of a couple of years ago, and what Fremantle has become since it decided to take on Essendon losers......

The message is simple, loud and obvious - get as many quality kids around our guns Riewoldt, Montagna, Gilbert, Sam Fisher, Dal, Ball, Hayes as possible and build a team that can challenge in 3-5 years. We still have to many list cloggers that have running up and down on the same spot for years now without progressing to the level required to win a flag or build a dynasty.

I want to see this club become a powerhouse and am sick and tired of seeing bad decisions regarding drafting and list management curtail this goal, wasting the opportunities for our guns to be in a well deserved dynasty. It has already cost Robert Harvey. No one deserved a flag more in the history of the game.

End of rant.

There would have to be a draft pick in there somewhere too.

O'Keefe is worth so, so, SO much more than Lovett.
