Ah, good. Was more than serviceable this year. He experience is important in relation to McEvoy and Kosi's ruck roles.

Good news, the experience he brings is priceless...

McEvoy will have trained under King, Gardiner and Madden, very few young ruckmen have the privilege of training under such a plethora of rucking experience...

Excellent news - his experience is invaluable and has proven himself to be more than serviceable this year. If he can keep himself fully fit, and groom himself for a specialist coaching role in years to come, would be an enormous coup for the likes of McEvoy, hopefully McGrath, Haretuku and any young ruck we may pick up in trade week or the draft!

But after such a great year...why would he not be?

Gardi will be the interesting one. I wonder how his calves are?

King said when he was drafted that he wanted to play 50 games for St Kilda.

So that would mean he will be with us for at least another 2 years ...

On current form he will be a great asset over that time.

I love the fact he's often the first one in there to be beside his mates at the slightest sniff of a blue on the field. Shame we don't have a few more.

Still waiting for closure ... if you get my drift.

Well done Kingy.

Proof there are some bargains to be had at trade week.

Koschitzke's value to the Saints would increase next year after back-up ruckman Michael Gardiner retires, as anticipated.

Steven King will be offered a new contract, Ben McEvoy is still developing, leaving Koschitzke to be the play as a back up ruckman/forward.

"We're working through a deal with Kingy, he will be here," Fraser said.

The Saints will draft a ruckman among their six picks at the national draft
