Hmmmm...strange sighting/rumour

Post: # 653484Post bigred »

A workmate of mine, who I have known for approaching five years gave me some strange info this morning...Now this is completely random....RANDOM...

Fair bit of WTF about it..

Anyhoo, here goes...This happened yesterday Wed 24/09/08

Albert park indoor sport centre @ the pits.

Bally, Joey, Roo & Dal....walk down into the kiosk after watching a game of girls netball... Boys dressed casually, jeans & T-Shirt sort of thing...

Guess who is with them........

Ben Cousins. Dressed in a suit, well dressed suit.

Said, and I quote: "see you later tonight boys"...and Cuz left.

Now...as I said, there is a fair bit of WTF about it....

Our boys were there apparently watching some girly friends of thiers play netball....

With Ben Cousins....

o.O

Make of it what you will...But the only thing I am missing is a photo. Its that genuine.

I wouldnt post this shyt if I wasnt 100% on it...

Thats a good sign. But what is there to say any one of the clubs before us won't swoop on him before we get a chance?? Clubs have drafted plenty of players without even talking to them before hand.

Just don't think he will be around by the time we get to him.

Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to stay on my toes.

No Roo & Dal only.

Thanks Jeff, didn't know if it was one of those rumours where the names change dependant on which club the poster was aligned to.

My word it would be - cheaper and probably less risky (now) than Kerr. Imagine a midfield of: Hayes, Cousins, Ball, Joey, Dal along with Goddard and Gram. It's starting to get that wow look about it.

Let me put this scenario to you.
With all the discussions that this seasons draft is the most important due to the gold coast and west sydney in the coming years - what if - Mr Cousins is not going to elect himself for that draft - waiting for all the clubs to fall over themselves stock piling up on the young talent available.
Say the Saints strategy is to ensure they have the first pick in the preseason draft for which Cousins is cleared to be part of???
Would this be the strategy to ensure we definitely obtain his services????

If everyone speeds, why haven't you been overtaken?

All seem quite confident he is going to them next year because of the simple fact they have a pick before us...But cousins can elect St Kilda as his club of hoice can't he, so Collingwood can't pick him?

I think the only thing he can elect is his price.....

Transexual horror who has a hatred for St.Kilda.

Ugliest thing I have ever seen.

As for Cousins - what will be will be.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. St Kilda cannot have first pick in the pre-season draft. Pre-season draft picks are not tradeable, so we are stuck with pick 13.

I don't know why you guys are reading so far in to this. They are all managed by the same player management group.

Gotta love how innuendo and gossip rears up at this time of year

will be good to hopefully see Ball,Cousins,Dal,Hayes, Steven
in the midfield next year.
we need that bit more grunt that cousins has,
and he can play for 2 or 3 more years if his body holds up

I like it! :D Very much!

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

That is merely an opinion / speculation from the writer - Greg Denham. Not from the Saints.

Yes but often clubs are already over their salary cap and can't afford a pick, as few as 5 or 6 clubs participate on occasions....
