Geary is uhhh, pretty useless :P His form this year has been very ordinary. I wouldn't say atrocious, because he hasn't had any of the ball to make any disastrous errors. It's far too early to write him off, but I think he will need to play in the VFL, and play well before being considered for selection. Alternatively, if he has a blinder in the NAB Cup, maybe then he would be eligible for selection.

Eddy is in the same boat as Geary, except he has made more clangers. Again, more time in the VFL is needed. This is of course assuming we are still going for a premiership. If we are in "rebuilding stage" then by all means play the kids.

Jones has potential, he just really needs to work on his kicking. It is very unpredictable, but he seems like a battler and maybe if he has a couple of good weeks (particularly if he managed a 25-30 possession week and a few goals) then a confidence boost could be what the doctor ordered.

Why is Blake not in the team?

This collection of players will still come up short next year....

We need to make changes, this team is too much like the one that just got
spanked.....

That quartet as the I/C bench is a real concern....

The list changes for 2025 have begun, always an interesting time for an avid supporter.

Agree Baker might be past it (prove me wrong bakes, prove me wrong)

Think Maguire could be used again but as a forward (no longer the body type for a backman) Learn to use that frame to smash some skulls in front of goal!
X seriously needs to put on 5kg( at least) and harden the f@*k up.
X will take Eddy's spot next year if this happens.
Eddy will be ok though, needs some time.(everyone's a f@#kin critic)
Blake deserves to be in the team,FFS.

Didak is staying - fact.

Cousins - no comment at this stage.

Kerr - will stay at WCE.

We need some hard body players that can crunch the opposition and make them feel it .

The strength of that list is that Dempster and Blake have been overlooked.

We have a good, hard, seasoned group, a mix of not-too-old and new.

Speed, clearance work, and footskills need to be a priority. Probably need to inherit speed. Kicking is practice. Clearances can be improved with Ball and Baker back in and a shiteload of practice starting in October.

We'll finish 3rd next year and make the Grannie. We are still on the up. We are good with room to get better.

Faith and patience, people. I believe!

Forgot about Attard, too. He showed plenty early on.
