Prefered Premiers

Post: # 647026Post benoc »

Now obviously the Saints are No1 but what is the order of your preference for Premiers.

1. SAINTS
2. Doggies
3. Hawks
4. No one as AFL is cancelled
5. Cats

This also reflects my choice for winner of the semi's.

"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

1) Saints (obvious reasons)
2) Dogs (understand their pain)

Thats about it. Wouldn't be able to see the Cats smug attitude justified. Also couldn't stand Buddy's face if they won it.

I do recall watching that game myself actually. Given I haven't seen one since I'm guessing I'll cave.

nah, stuff 'em.

If we have had to suffer since 1966 why would you want yet another club to break they're premiership drought before us?

Gawd, first Sydney a few years back, then Geelong, now you (and some others) don't mind it being the Dogs.

So you mob are happy if we (eventually/maybe) have the longest current drought???

Sorry I just don't get it.

Once we win the flag, I couldn't give a toss - yep, let the Dogs break their drought, let Melbourne etc etc......but until then, I take solace in other club's supporters suffering longer than us!!!

Exactly.

I couldn't stand it if the dogs won - at least when the Cats win its an extremely good team winning.

If the dogs won the premiership all i could say was that the quality of footy had depreciated by about 80%.

They're a flog of a team, I would rather Melbourne win it.
