Hawks & Doggies

Hi there, the cliche long time reader first time poster. Now I have a couple of questions, as I am a Saints supporter, I don't pay much attention to other teams. I just want to know, where the Hawks or Doggies in the finals last year. I don't think the Hawks were (correct me if I'm wrong) and if the doggies weren't and didn't get that far. Then do either of these teams really understand the full intensity of finals footy. Saints players have a fair bit of experience in this area, but from what I can remember Hawks and Doggies don't. So does that give us an advantage over Hawks. Please anyone feel free to let me know if I'm way off track.

Hawks finished 5th and lost in the Semi to the kangas.
Bulldogs finished 13th.

not as experienced in the finals as the saints are. And I hope it does give us the advantage, but i wouldnt be counting on the nerves of the hawks players to win the game. The better team on the day will win.
