X and Bally

Post: # 645414Post MC Gusto »

Well well well a very chuffed MC here! As are we all i guess! Watched the game live over here in London town (guess i was ahead of you melbournites in that respect..?) and thought it was a performance that really instilled some pride back in the club and players.

Think Hawthorn will be tough but think that we will win and have good ol' crack at the flag...Mc will be in oz for that so I hope to hell i have something to watch. Must remember that it ain't over till the fat lady sings, it's a two horse race, any team can win on the day etc as Geelong are by no means certainties..doggies even pose a danger this week!

Anyways was wondering (can't find a post) was X dropped or has he reinjured something and also do we think bally will be in this week??

Thanks guys

and GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO saints

X was dropped due to a poor game..and perhaps the realisation thae he was not quite "ripe" yet (though X's dad's ilness may also have an effect on his concentration).

Ball re-injured himself at traing. Re-injuring a hammy so quickly would evidently normally mean he would be out till the GF if we get that far. So Ball will be iffy" this week too.

X played the majority of the Game on SUnday, was on during all four quarters, and whilst not precise and on top of the game he kept presenting and was there to have a second go if need be- one of the better for Casey.

he looks like he needs to put a little more weight on- very slim at present.

I hope so...because if he doesn't put weight on this pre season he'll be a huge liability next year.

He couldn't shrug a tackle from a 10 year old at the moment.
