Kerr OR Cousins... you can only pick one!

Post: # 639803Post RedWhiteBlack »

Quite simply... who would you prefer if we could only land one? (forget about who/what we have to give)

Don't you mean Cousins?? Judd isn't going anywhere

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

Judd.... Just....

I'd take Bartell over both of them tho.... off the issue, i know, but he is a tremendous player...

EDIT??!!!... In that case, Kerr clearly over Cousins...

One season back from a serious injury and still was a great player this year. Expect Judd to be the best player in the AFL next season so it isnt even a contest.

If anyone chooses Cousins over Kerr they would have rocks in their head

Kerr is 25, Cousins is 30+

If they were the same age? and both were clean, it would be a hard decision!

But as they are today, Kerr in a heartbeat

Cousins - He and Judd were the reason the Eagles won a flag.

Kerr was the number 3 in that midfield.

You would only need to give up salary for him too. Kerr we'd have to give

up players and we don't have too many of them

I think it would make more sense to say Kerr OR Didak...

Because that's where the picks will be traded.

Cousins is auxiliary; he comes in the PSD.

Stupid to state it this way. We can get franklin....but we would have to give rewioldt & Dal to get him.

It ALWAYS matters what you have to give up for the trade. The overall NET gain/loss is all that matters.

Overall Cousins would be better value, becuase we wouldn't have to give away as much to get an elite midfielder...

indeed....

* Kerr for picks 6 (swapped for Kosi and Charlie to the Blues) and pick 28

or

* Cousins for pick 28 (will be gone by pick 46 I think)...

A hit of coke or a hit of E?

Both will cost you big time in the hip pocket and will cause pain when the party is over and you wake up in the moring in jail or a ditch realising it wasnt worth the inital high and future hangover

If we were going to take a risk on either of these two, I'd take Cousins every time. After all when was the last time Kerr managed to play 22 games. Kerr's body is gone, reco's on both shoulders and ankles.
If he's not injured, he's out suspended.

Kerr in a canter.

The thought of him in red, white and black is getting the juices flowing I must say.

Cousins.

Kerr is under Contract and I would not trade for him.

With the upcoming GC17 situation we need to inject further youth by utilising each of our Draft Picks on kids.

Cousins is not under Contract, and can be obtained without having to trade Draft Picks or players.

Your two statements would seem to be at odds as Cousins is not a kid.

I honestly think we will go for cousins in a big way and a key backman. We will lose G-train and Harves and probably delist up to 4 others.First pick is outa bounds and id think we will pick up some kids. But remember Lyons upbringing with both Blues and Swans they love to recycle and so does he.

Personally i think's Kerr is out of the question. We'd simply have to give too much even assuming he'd want to come to us. carlton must have be his first choise with his good mate Judd already there.

I for mind wouldn't mind Cousins. We need a good quality outside runner to support Dal. Cousins would fit that spot to a T. With Hayes, Bally and Jones in and under, Dal and Cousins on the out side, we'de have a much better clearance rate and get the pill to our forwards quickly.

IF It is to be it is up to me.

If possible... get Kerr. But a bargain basement Cuz whp can kick 30 goals happens... I'd be stoked.
