So what will it be, our "lovely" insipid faded apron or our mighty Tri Colour ??
We are playing the Filth and its our home game so to speak
Any answers?

I bet Fat Eddy gets his way and we have to wear the apron :evil: :evil:


Followed Saints since '71
Sir Robert Harvey was my favorite player
Stewie Lowe and Plugger before that.
Loved watching Rooey and Jack Steven
Now looking forward to the future

I would bombard the club with emails and phone calls this week to let them know that we insist that the boys wear the Tri-colour and that we shouldn't cave in to either Collingwood or the AFL on this issue.

collingwoods clash jersey has a big Channel 9 logo on it
eddies face as the patch and 25 sponsors splashed across it.

Yes it is White and Black stripes instead of Black and White!

The truth is they do not clash with us front on - but they do from behind so their clash jumper has a white panel with black numbers instead of the usual black with white numbers (As ours is) - also they wear white shorts in a clash.

Yes they have a clash jumper - but it is not a nighty like ours is!

So the Pie'w will be wearing their white back...which is actually their original jumper (despite Eddies crap about them not changing!!) , which if they played in would cause less clashes with more teams.

Collingwood only concern is that they have their sponsors 3 stripes on the front and back. Look at any of their jumpers from 6+ years ago and they always had 5 stripes at least. Their jumper revolves around the 3 adidas stripes, that's why they are so hung up on the whole stripe thing. The alternative strip folly is based on sponsors dollars.
