Post: # 632171Post rogerwa »

it wasnt milney or gram or fisher or hayes or goddard it was having a couple of killagrews watching the game with us today at the karalee that got us over the line...must apologise in the excitement of what took place i've forgotten names, hope to seeya again next week

urge all saint supporters to get along to the karalee with saint towels & scarfs & re-enact what killa did 50 yrs ago

maybe one of you nerds out there can post the picture of killa standing on the boundry line kissing & waving the saints towel

what a sight it would be if 50000 saints can do likewise at the g next sunday

And we'll need all the spirits we can muster! Plus Luke Ball.

I remember as a kid how Killa used to jump up on the boundary and stand in front of the old wooden stand during the final quarter in close games and whip the crowd into an absolute frenzy
Everybody loved the bloke
It was always St Kilda clap clap clap , St Kilda clap clap clap
And if the crowd hated the umpire after a shocking display , they would count the umpire out , after a crook decision that became the last straw...ie backwoods from 10 to 1 then O-U-T OUT!
it was the highest insult you could bestow on the white maggots!

Ah such excitement down at the Junction
GOSAINTERS!

as a young boy i was always allowed to accompany my dad into the saints rooms before a match at whatever oval we were playing that day........killa used to make the hairs stand up on the back of my neck.........

i also got to run out onto the ground as a mascot.....them were the days.......

.everybody still loves lenny....and we always will

Killers passion must have been terrific, but didn't he tranfer it elsewhere? North Melbourne l think.
