Just want to congratulate firstly the players on the year so far,they are playing wish a passion that i have not seen for a few years at Saint Kilda,we won today because we had no passengers and a belief in the game play.
To Ross Lyon well done you have bought the TEAM together to give us a chance at the bussness end of the season,to only give away eleven goals combined agaist the crows and the boomers if a great effort,we seem to rebound so well out of defence at the moment.
I have to put my hand up and say i was not a Ross Lyon fan but i believe now he and the players have the game to test all the team in the finals.

Lyons identified holes (ruck) and DEVELOPED some raw kids (Eddy, Jones et al) and re-built our midfield so that its not just a "fab 4" focus - FULL credit to the man.

Hes also built a St Kilda side that CAN run out games to which Im greatfull.

Apparently hes doen all this without the "media glitz" of GT......who give a toss???? ...no really WHO CARES. Hes first and foremost a football coach NOT "man manager" and thats what we need.

It's a new dawn. We are top 4. Players have clicked. Game plan looks good.

BTW, I told youse all it takes time. And the best part is, we've still got room for improvement.
