In light of this, what would be the 'worst possible nightmare combination' of Umpires we could get?

Mine would be

Head
McLaren
Chamberlain

with McBurney as Emergency.

once again...

Head should never umpire in a game involving stkilda

If it was any other sporting code he would never have umpired again.

Umpiring a team out of a game because someone said a bad thing about you is corrupt. Money isn't the only reason for corruption, ego and personality can be the catalyst as well...

of well, as long as we don't get him for a final....

the club should request that he not be given st kilda games.

whispers in the sky was a disgrace and his last umpiring performance against us either incompetent or corrupt.

who was the bald ump? - a few bad decisions against us in vital positions in 3rd quarter - thought it may cost us 4th. The others did well. (plugger66 - it's the 'bad' part i'm complaining about, not the 'against us')

No 15 is Matthew Nicholls, one of the worst going around. Watched some non-Saints games that he's umpired and some of the decisions have been deplorable - almost as if he's trying to incite some sort of controversy. Didn't notice much of him after quarter time today though which was good.

What was the crap with Nicholls at the kick out from a point in the first quarter - the player had a ball but he insisted that he change it for the ball that had been in play - held the game up to do it!

Admittedly it probably helped us set up our zone - but puhleeaaassee - hw pathetic and pedantic!

MMM reported it that Michael (?) had grabbed the ball from the bin before the Goal Ump had signalled a behind. Apparently it is written...
