X playing is a good sign...although with Bally not playing this week i doubt he could come in next week.

Tough to have a guy who hasn't played for half the year, and a guy who's just missed 4 weeks come back into the team for a final at the same time...
We all remember what happened in '05.

I wonder if part of the reason that X is playing at Casey and not seniors is the desire to ensure that he has a full SEVEN days recovery for the first week of the finals???

I think its more because he hasn't played any football for two weeks.

And funnily enough, because of the injuries at Collingwood and depth issues a Buckley has been named in the VFL side.

Couldn't imagine that it would be old "FIGJAM" as he would think it beneath him to play at a lower level, even in retirement.

He's back at the Saints, reports from Ilzy was that he was training with Casey to recover from his injury. Even still that would be strange if true, would have thought all the medicos at the saints would be better to organise his training regime.
