Robert Harvey store appearance this Saturday
Robert Harvey will be appearing at his HWH store in Frankston this Saturday afternoon to sign merchandise and meet his legion of fans.
The retiring great will be at HWH between 12:00pm – 1:30pm Saturday August 30th to sign memorabilia including copies of the Robert Harvey Tribute Magazine which will be on sale for $10. This is a chance for fans to purchase their Saints merchandise and meet Harvs in what will be one of his last appearances as an active St Kilda player.
HWH is co-owned by Robert Harvey, Shane Warne and Aaron Hamill and is situated at 3a Shannon Street, Frankston (03 9781 3235).

Can someone give me help regarding locations/directions.
If I arrive at the intrernational airport at 8am and probably get through customs by 10am, then I am staying in the city, but I don't know if I should go to the city first, or go straight to the shopping centre.
Is Frankston on the way to the city from the airport? How far away is it from the city? Should I catch a cab to get there?
Does it take long to get from the city to Frankston? Does it take long to get to Frankston from the Airport?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

don't take a taxi
shuttle bus to the City and then Train I would think.

Melb Airport is approx 20KM Nth West of the City. Frankston is approx 40Km South of the City. Airport to Frankston by taxi would take approx 1 hour and cost upwards of $100. Taxi to City approx 20mins & $40. Train to Frankston approx 55 mins & $10 !!markinUSA wrote:Can someone give me help regarding locations/directions.

You can catch a train straight down to Frankston from the city - roughly an hour and fifteen journey i think.markinUSA wrote:Can someone give me help regarding locations/directions.

Depends where in the city your staying - if your staying in the CBD then walk to one of the stations (Central, Flinders, Southern Cross) and you can catch a train to Frankston on the Frankston line.
I'm fairly sure the shopping centre, and store, is not a long walk from the Frankston station - but catching a taxi from the city would cost a fortune.

You will be struggling, but I would not advise taking a train if you want to get there before 1:30pm! You'd hate to almost get there, only to miss him by 15 minutes (and trust me, Frankston is no short stroll from the airport!) Maybe see how long it takes you to clear customs and make a decision then.markinUSA wrote:Can someone give me help regarding locations/directions.

Here are the links to the home pages for the toll roads.
I'm sure the car rental places will be able to advise you anyway.

Im a frankstonite and you would want to be leaving the city before midday to get to frankston in time!
Once off the train head on the front where there is traffic lights cross at the pedrastrian walkway, follow down to the corner on a laneway where hungary zaks is on the corner and turn left keep going down the laneway you will go past dimmeys, a framing place and you will see gloria jeans at the end and the entrance to the shopping centre and turn left and keep going and on the right is HWH!! Very simple walk!!Takes less than 5mins from the station!
Hope that helps!! Harvey usually stays longer than the time frame!
