Why did X rest last week
You would have thought that X should play as many games as possible heading into the finals. Was he rested or did he have a slight injury. Hope it was a rest but it does seem strange.

That's exactly what happened.HarveysDeciple wrote:that's what I was thinking.chook23 wrote:With scorps playing on the Sat.....plugger66 wrote:You would have thought that X should play as many games as possible heading into the finals. I think we will have to play X this week, even if Ball does come back.
He needs to get some game time in the seniors and I think we do need to increase the skill level in the side. Will be hard at the selection table this week....although, as they say, that is a good position to be in.
If Ball is fit, I would have him in for Eddy and X in for Jones. Very tough on both Eddy and Jones, in particular, but at this time of the year, tough decisions have to be made.
I would leave Birss in because I think he provides more versatility than Mini and Eddy and I think he was stiff to be dropped when he was.....and X is a more skillful player than Jones.
Well that's my two bob's worth anyway.
Extra! Extra! Read all about it......no I don't want to read about it anymore!!!

My understanding is that at least 2 emergencies warm up with the team, in the rooms, every week.
It was clear that X was part of the warm up as he was the only non participating Saint not in a black suit and club tie before the game.
He was in a tracksuit. Saw him later and he had changed into the black suit and tie.

Old enough to repaint, but young enough to sell

Milney was never going to miss after training on Friday. I just reckon another game wouldnt have hurt him but obviously they know better.Scoop wrote:That's exactly what happened.HarveysDeciple wrote:that's what I was thinking.chook23 wrote:With scorps playing on the Sat.....plugger66 wrote:You would have thought that X should play as many games as possible heading into the finals.
