Although we hate them with a passion, it was good sporting gesture after being thumped by the Saints to pay their respects to Robert Harvey, lining up at our race for Harvs to lead the boys off the field

Agreed. Heard Scott Thompson interviewed after the game. He said it was a player driven idea that surfaced immediately after the game !!

Also thought it was fantastic when Simon Goodwin ran 60 metres from the bench after the siren to shake the great man's hand.

Also heard I think Tony Shaw asking Harves if he thought it was a bit over the top by the Crows as the year and his career have not yet finished. :roll:

course not, but it was a wonderful guesture of sportsmanship and respect for a player they obviously think very highly of.

even more impressed with the fact that it was a spur-of-the-moment player-driven idea ... not something requested of them by their club.

No,but that would be in the midst of a finals build up to an ultimate gaol.Full credit to them for paying tribute to the "CHAMPION", in a time frame that does suit them.

It was a great effort by the crows, they handled themselves fantastically despite a very disappointing loss, well done Adelaide, great sportsmanship, we love to see it!!

Yep..well done to the Adelaide players...good to see, as Richmond did in 2003 that honouring the greats of the game transcends team rivalry

Did notice however that their CS area was pretty empty as Harv's left the ground
