one he has been thinking about and expecting

people didn't think he'd eveer reriter and almost thought that himself

worry abour retiring?
did at the start and after 30 just played eveery game like it was the last- and injurieis people told him may finish early
durability hs improved- resources of the club- and now smarter- someof the things he used to do were ridiculouse- craziest thing was when training wasthursday he would go home and at 9.30 train again-- by saturday he couldn;t feel his legs
when oyoou want to do well sometimes you do silly things

can't remember much- remembers getting the ball and maybe the roar but much of the game is missing

supporters have been sensational- sad to finish- just the right time

other supporter also?
all would barrack for Harves- star and you deserve them- Harves doesn't know why- people have stopped him in the street- he does appreciate it and he just loves our great game


looking back?
adelaide final- 97/08, WA wins,
Robert -not a great memory- 370 odd games but doesn't really remember that many- yes finals- H&A - but finals more has played 13/14 finals
97 prelim- the chance to be in the big one- adelaid good but sad the way we lost the next week so 97

this year now- enthused about how they are going about it, not 4 qur yet- but wrapt - whether it be this or next or the one after- being lead well By Roo and Lenny and Bally- but left in a diffiduclt postion- heading in right direction
compete hard and win their own footy

advice for young players?
hard to give advice- we all get into situations we shouldn't .all are young0- unforutnae in footy- need to think and plan ahead, some of the stuf he used to get up to when younger

craziest thing he has done to get himself right for a game

after training and selection he ran for an hour and on game day he could barely feel his legs... thought "wow I might need to see someone about this" lol
