He will play. My record today is pretty good as I went for 3 changes and there was one only but Max will be right.

hope max plays. have been thinking all week how it is great to have a settled team. Also knew that Max would get Fev, limiting his productiveness as much as any other back could. please play Max please

Hope he plays but he was the only no show at Tuesday's open training.

That may be where the rumors are coming from.

Why do we get a night game at the G in the coldest week of the year?

Can't believe it either, especially when the Dome is both of our home grounds.....

Friday night footy between two teams that they probably expected to be in the 8 or there abouts and with a lot of big stars Ie Judd Fev Roo Dal etc, was always going to be at the G IMO. Apparently they didnt have an accurate weather forecast for July at the time.

Back to Max, assuming he gets up tomorrow and is available next week, will he get first crack at franklin?

So, rexy, you think the AFL thought Carlton would be in the 8 or thereabouts.

Nobody else did.

Fancy that, can't believe its not a barmy 25 degree evening, unlucky 8-)

Max can't run with Franklin, better bet for Roughie I reckon.
Very tough matchup for us, would rather we gambled with a Blake or a Gilbert than go with S Fisher personally.

People want us to play more at the G and also say supporters are now soft and now we get a game at the G and no one wants it because it is to cold. I just cannot understand people on here.

Havent you seen the threads that say we dont get enough games at the G. What is wrong with playing in front of 60000 at the G on a friday night. Sounds like it will be good for the players to get experience under those conditions. I love the dome but the G is the home of footy.

I want us to play at the G. I think there's a game called the Grand Final played there?

It's great to play well at the Dome, but what good is the Dome come September?

Haven't seen the threads actually.

Nothing wrong with the G, and yes the experience will be worthwhile, just think the middle of July is not smart.

I actually think the conditions will help us having said all that.....

We play wet weather footy every week, all be it indoors

plugger66 thinks 60,000 tomorrow night.

I would think more like 40,000.

I'll be there, but I think many will not bother.

Grand Final played at the G, but not at night and not in July.

How soft are we becoming. Cold whether in July. Maybe we play footy in summer now. You are right there will not be 60000 as its seems Saints supporters dont like the G and are afraid of cold whether. Imagine playing footy in July. What is happening to footy.

Take it as a compliment folks.

Carlton play their home games at the Dome bar the ones against BIG teams...Essendon, Collingwood..ST KILDA!!!!!

And for a change Im totally with plugger66 here..rapt the game is at the G. I wish many more of our away games were. My MCC Membership might just me a factor in that 8-) but Im happy not to put money in Carlton's pocket :-)

Its footy in July, wear a warm jumper, get over yourselves....and bloody well turn up!!!!!!!!
