Game against Carlton in a fortnight.....

Post: # 595990Post borderbarry »

For the next game, against Carlton in a fortnight...
Michael Gardiner, Lenny Hayes, Stephen Baker, Adam Schneider, Xavier Clarke, Matt Ferguson, may all be ready to return. Who is going to make way for them?

For mine, they can all go to the Scorpions for a run, except Gardiner and Lenny. But who will make way for those two?
Another must win match.

if riewoldt is to continue to play wing and more as a follower it is going to mean we are a key forward down.

so even though he didn't get many touches tonight i think allen might be retained as none of the others are potential key forwards.

the other thing about it is that kosi handled the second ruck/forward duties with aplomb tonight.

if it were me i'd bring in just hayes.

hard to drop anyone after our best win of the season. who are the likely candidates to miss?

Charlie Gardiner probably to make way.

Yes agree...Lenny and Gardiner ONLY...

The others need Casey time.....that RL may want to bring Schneider in against Carlton.

Gwilt, Eddy, Charlie and Allen would be the players that may miss out.

I think Gwilt has done enough over the past few weeks to keep his spot. Has been decent running out of defense.

agree. he's done enough to hold his spot.

the influx of youth has been good for us and we should think long and hard about making too many changes to a winning side.

X needs Casey time for a few weeks, we dont need him breaking down during a game, love the intensity of the kids, the other players seem to lift around their enthusiasm.

IMO i reckon C Gardiner may struggle to hold his spot,Hayes could maybe play the medium lead up forward ,and rotate through midfield, charlie just doesnt do enough for me

Lenny & Bakes must be certainties. Bakes to get stuck into Judd or Murphy, not sure about MG, I loved Kosi's game around the ground last night.
