Was Lennys quarter the best ever from any onballer
It was the most amazing quarter I have ever seen from an onballer. Got 75 dreamteam points according to the afl website.
I agree it was awesome.
However, I think G. Ablett's last quarter against th Swans this year was the best individual quarter I've seen.

Harvey has had many a quarter that influential, maybe not as impressive on the stat sheet but he has done it in more important matches against better opposition, however Lenny was on fire and it would have been great to see him play out the game...

Great quarter, but Freo coach's match ups from the start were hopeless, especially on Lenny. They forgot that he could play! Lyon, "pulled Harvey's pants down", which, in the end, is why we won.

From what you're suggesting, Harvey pulled his own pants down and Lyon was beneficiary of another coach's ineptitude.perfectionist wrote:Great quarter, but Freo coach's match ups from the start were hopeless, especially on Lenny. Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.
Lenny had a go right from the start he was on his way to 40+ possies huge shame he got injured I thought we might be in trouble after that but we pulled through. Lenny Hayes is a champion
If you can't give the commitment you gave this year and you don't want to improve, you can go because we have unfinished business-Ross Lyon

Lenny is a dead set gun and he sets the example, it's just a shame our players don't often follow it. The first quarter last night set the bench mark for what we should be like to be a serious contender, unfortunately Freo are extremely pathetic so we can't take much from it.
The kids were quite impressive and looked excited to be in the team, there were a few promising signs. McEcoy looked to cope well in the ruck and Eddy has great speed.
If Lenny and Rooey put in that effort/work rate like they so often do, these kids will have fine role models to measure up to not to mention the great Robert Harvey. tell me, has Harvey ever put in two ordinary games in a row in his whole career? and his 6 possies last week were due to injury. the man is a god, and MARK JOHNSON YOU ARE A DIRTY LOW LIFE THUG AND I THINK I ACTUALLY FEEL SORRY FOR YOU YOU POOR EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN BEING.
that is all.
