The 189 cm youngster who last weekend represented NSW/ACT Under 16s in the match against Queensland at Carrara, joins 16 year old Josh Duncan, 15 year old Kane Murphy and 18 year old Blake McGrath as the Club’s NSW Scholarship holders.
Kane Murphy is one of the best in the country for his age, huge that we have got him signed up from the Swans (where is father played 100+ games). Is Duncan the former Australian volleyballer and McGrath the 208cm basketballer - or other way round?

and Danny Ryan. ( listed as part of development staff) hadn't seen tis name before.
Danny has been with us since at least early 2006 and was has appointed to assist the Club in the identification of younger players in the AFL program and is our Sydney representative.
He is also the NSW Development Coach for the NSW scholorship players.
So he has to find them...and then develop them.
Despite many all attributing the ramping up of our recruiting to FF...a lot was actually done in the latter part of the previous Boards reign..or at least commenced.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....

none of them have succeeded in life or done anything us forumites would really want to do ever...they have coached and saw over the club but none of us would have wanted the opportunity to do so
I really hope that some of our younger players actually can play a bit because I don't think many of them will get very far on their looks
Joking, I don't think anybody wants another thread bagging the people bagging the player's looks again, if anybody else even remembers that

Season 2024 is where RTB is showing the footy world his grasp of the modern game.
Definately should recruit more players with two surnames and no first names.
I think it's an attempt to redress the imbalance of players with two first names we've had over the years ... Robert Harvey, Luke Penny , Robert Neil, and three in the case of Nick Dal Santo.
Still waiting for closure ... if you get my drift.

Good work, but there's still a long long way to go:
Sam Gilbert, Brad Howard, Jack Steven, Jarryd Allen (if Jarryd's actually a first name), Robbert Eddy, Like Miles, and Aaron Fiona.
