They're not paid to "say something good" about anyone. However they should actually ask a football related question - something the public wants to hear & not how to interpret an article written on a different tangent, in a different context.

It's not a show for the press to interpret, it's supposed to be for football fan to enjoy. Poor Glen Archer - I hope he gets paid well to put up with the shame of being on such a gutter trash style program.

You can't win. If you don't give out enough player interviews during the week, then these guys squeal like little pigs - if players are doing the interviews, suddenly the player is doing too much media & is not concentrating on their football.
