Brett Robinson

This player is playing for Swans in the WAFL
He played or come from Werribee
anyone now anything about him as he is a absolute GUN
easily leading in the Sandover Medal I would think
Plus leading in all other media awards
He has pace to burns
Big balls
a bit of mongrel
and plays with heaps of passion
Kicks goals

Would be a great rookie as he is only 22yrs

Brett came from Tasmania to Werribee, a strong in and under midfielder, quite tough he was named in the best players several times in 2006 for Werribee ,he also did train with the Bulldogs 2006 pre seas but i don't know what they did not like I think he nominated for that years draft.

better skills then jones? Would love a midfielder with pace (anyone read the age where they suggested that eddy is a fast midfielder LOL).

And they aren't wrong. Eddy is lightyears ahead of any other player in terms of mid-long distance running (150m-3km). Sprinting I'm not sure how he fares but he is certainly one of, or the quickest player on our list. Whether he plays as a quick player, perhaps not? I don't see enough of Casey to make a judgement.

totally agree that he is a great gut runner, which is one reason I have always expect him to make the next step up. But to suggest he is fast is a little silly.

Brett performed really well in the nat champs in 2005.....and must have been close to being drafted....played for the Tas Devils in the VFL as a 17yo....then moved to werribee....and did OK.....he would be 21 at the moment, listed at 180cm, and I think he is from the NW coast of Tassie (Burnie)....is a good allround player with no special skills (very similar to Eddy in that regard)....

The WAFL is a watered down league.....which is extemely open and uncontested.....average Victorian players go there and dominate.....Robbo was just above a fringe player at Werribee, and spent some time in the reserves.....was NOT dominant at senior level (albeit was younger)....he would have been drafted if he was good enough.....16 clubs with 4 picks each over a three year period have not considered him...

I hoped the saints would Rookie him in 2006.....
