We have already touched on things the cheer squad should do when the opposition team is kciking in from the CS end i.e. throw the ball away to burn up time when we are in front and let us man up.
But i have a new suggestion, many will say this is unoriginal, but i say it works.
When a player is kicking in from the CS end they should drum on the fence slowly at first then get louder and faster to let the player know he is running out of time/options and to hurry up. From what i have seen it creates mistakes oftern resulting in goals/behinds.
I saw freo do it tonight. It worked. I saw geelong do it last weekend against sydney. It worked.
Give it a try guys and girls in the CS. BTW this isn an attack this is just constructive critisism that i think is paying dividends for other teams so why not us?
Suggestion to the cheersquad
