This whole Riewoldt v Lovett sledge is a non issue I know but does anyone know why Montagna came out and said it was him when clearly it wasn't? He looks a little silly now.

he didn't it just seemed like he did, he admitted to starting the whole thing but that was it.

The sledge was delivered well after teh 'wrestling had commenced.

According to what Montagna said (as distinct to what The Age printed and today apologised for), Lovett gave him a 'corky just before teh siren blew and He (Joey) 'confronted' him. Joey said he was angry with Lovett because they are mates.

AFAIK he never publicly stated that he spoke the now infamous words.
