St Kilda Vs Port Adel - Whos going over?
I've booked Hotel, Car and Tickets ready to see Bakes return to Footy.
Where will everyone meet prior to game. Sports bar over the road?

i am presuming a fair few are coming over here and will be at the saints cheer squad end?
just wondering if anyone knows if theres an after match speech by players and coaches etc......?
its usually in that stupidly small room behind the coaches box....u know, the one where half the supporters are made to what outside and miss everything because of the capacity of the room.
seriously that has to be sorted out.......

Yes there will be an Aftermatch function. It will be in the Stadium Bar. Matrixcutter, why dont you contact the President of the SA Saints Supporters Group and suggest a better place for the Fans and the Players to gather afterwards. The committee of the above Supporter Group do a great job with very limited resources. Maybe you could stand for to be a committee member?matrixcutter wrote:i am presuming a fair few are coming over here and will be at the saints cheer squad end?

Maybe we could all walk down to the CROWS SHED and meet and greet there? Or what about we stand in the shopping centre carpark? We used to have the player functions in the Airport Club the following day of the game. Was always well patronised. Hope you can come up with some ideas Matrixcutter

all i said was the room is too small.
surely there is a function room or corporate room that is bigger at aami stadium.
yes the supporters group does a good job for at least organizing something after the game for fans and members of the club.
it was more of a dig at the staff of aami, as 20 or 30 people were made to wait outside with the staff saying that the quota of people for the room had been reached and any more would be a breach of safety laws.....while saying this they let at least 6 or 7 aami staff in while keeping members and fans out.
they wouldnt even hold the door open so we could here what was being said on the speech podium.
after that i never tried to get in again......
if the people need any help organizing stuff id be glad to help out in a way that could fit into my day to day duties.

As Social club members living in dear old Moronville we are automatically Interstate members as well so we get tickets from the club whenever Saints play port or the morons over here. If you live in Melb probably contact the club to see if they have got rid of their quota or ring Bass on Monday. I wouldnt be worrying tooo much about not getting in because there is always heaps of seats available because Port dont have that many members so never fill the stadium. (except when they beat us prelim final 2004 )The Saintsational Man wrote:How can i get tickets???
