for once we had a good spread of goalkickers.

interesting that this should coincide with riewoldt
NOT playing at chf.

perhaps with him deep in the forward line our mids feel they
have the option to take a ping themselves rather than
always look for him.

they now have the choice of going straight over his head.

I thought he did still often play at CHF? Anyhow definitely agree that we looked like we had many other options to goal (or for behinds :evil: )

The most pleasing part of this game to me was that we did the team things like prorecting the ball carrier. I haven't seen enough of this for some time.

This is the only way to ensure the midfield starts to kick goals.

I still reckon Nick does too much running and leads too much to the pockets. Today this aspect improved a bit from starting deeper forward.


Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency
