G-Train & Banger vs Pretty Boy

Post: # 551125Post SainterX »

First of all congratulations to our men tonight. Could not be prouder :)

Now onto the real reason for this thread.

Fraser Gehrig kicked 2 goals against Geelong (albeit 1 after the final siren), Robert Harvey dominated for the umpteenth time in his career.
Matthew Lloyd kicked 0 goals in a 99 point hammering from Geelong and he kicked 0 again tonight after Max took him to school....yet

we don't hear Dermie or anyone else telling Pretty Boy to give up now do we?

Yet every man and his dog is telling Harvs and Frase to give up the game.

Why is that?

A true king doesn't glass his girlfriend.
A true king doesn't smear his blood on an opponent when he cannot break a tag.
A true king does not label umpires disgraceful.
A true king is Robert Harvey.

If lloyd was to retire we'd have to find another bummer favourite to boo.
He does look past it though doesn't he?

Actually, Max makes most full forwards look second-rate :D

LOL 'Harry HighPants'

How was the booing when he got that 'dodgy free kick' in the last qtr. I don't believe I've ever heard a stronger crowd reaction to a player?
And the cheers when he missed.

The Bummer fans around us could not believe the hatred and contempt we saints fans had for their 'Oscar nominee' captain.

Haha, & isn't that what we go to the footy for? Light hearted moments like that. Still laughing now. Can't wait to see the replay. Does he have any idea how much of a dick he looks? The king of the yeah/nahs.

i would of helped boo too as much as the rest of us do. Although i was in a sea of bombers fans at their end and was not ready to sacifice myself just yet. It was great to hear the boo's resonate around the dome! And i always love to see him miss a goal.

I agree why aren't the people calling for his head. I heard some bombers supporters pretty much going through the saints players and rating them. They had the nerve to say our list was crap and we will never win a cup. They seemed pretty high and mighty after such a loss to a "crap list". I heard one guy pipe up saying remember the score, buddy. Some bombers fans must be delusion to think that bombers played well considering they only came to play in the 3rdQ.

The essendon supporters around me were very critical of Lloyd. Saying that he hasn't done anything for about 3-4 years and that at the least he should be sacked as captain and when Lucas comes back forced to retire.

They certainly look after their oldies at Windy Hill.

FWIW I've never thought Lloyd was much chop, a normally very accurate kick yes but too many of his possessions have come as a result of soft free kicks for me to rate him.
