when we are on top and the opposition adjust we can't see to adjust.

we've seen this from the borefest against hawthorn last year when they adjusted adn we stuck to the same plan.

footscray and geelong adjust and adapt, we can't or we refuse too.

its like we have one gear.

we have tonnes of talent, we've seen that against footscray and geelong but we can't adapt and we play as a collection of stars rather than a team.

we rattled geelong for 1/4, then we went to sleep.

we will still roll sides this year but unless we adapt we are gone.

is it the players? the coach? the runners? training? drilling?

its sort of like the coach has said 'go out there and have fun don't worry too much about tactics except make sure you run around heaps and make sure you spend 80% of your time in defence'.

sad part is, the team lyon has inherited is almost good enough to do that at the senior level.

unless the saints can adapt, learn, perfom and turn it around for the coach in the next 18 weeks, lyon will be looking for a new job.
