the foward line :(

was woeful last night.
theres no defensive pressure once the ball hits the deck.
the hawks can use 3 talls, buddy roughead and boyle,
but there all alot more mobile then our 3.
gehrig looks out of sorts because the 50 is so damn crowded.
he is a match winner, and one of the dominate fowards in the league,
he has proven he can beat any defender hands down when he is on.
but he needs space, give him the 50, with kosi at the 50
with milne or schnider there abouts,
and have roo up the ground doing what he wants,
he is a smart footballer, with lots of skill, a huge engine and most importantly he bleeds for the saints, he would never give up.
kosi has missed to much footy give him the CHF possie
and let him settle down, im sure he can dominate if given half a chance and space.
dont throw him in the ruck because yes he tries hard, but he is undersized, and to valuable up foward.
back in the days with GT we never stuggled for goals, we ran the corridor, kicked it lace at to the G-TRAIN, or roo and we were away.
and too often we kick it long to kosi and roo, but its a long high, s*** skycrapper kick, hping they can bring it down, but by the time the ball comes down there competing against 4 opposition players, and competeing against each other.
its stupid, we have 3 GUN fowards, yet we can mark it in the foward line as much as we should

montagna has gone missing, we miss his run, a bit the same with gram, with out constant flooding we are losing too much run.
fiora has jsut lost the passion, he does some good things, but they are outwieghed by the bad and ugly, he doesnt like going for the hard ball, doesnt get enough of the ball, and looks lazy, we need to drop him and try and get him up and going in the vfl, he is a very good player when he is on.
same with raph, he is good, but lacks confidence, he is only like 22, give him a chance, but maybe give hima go in the vfl, and get his confidence up.

and im bemused why blake didnt ruck, i no he did a good tagging job on west, but we should of used him instead of kosi, we have many other smaller players we could of put on west, and let kosi continue up forward, rossy is trying to make blake to much like goodes, a tall midfielder, he does try his guts out, but he doesnt have the skil and magic that goodes does.

clint jones should be in the team, yes his disposal isnt the best, but how hard does the guy go, throws himslef in, tackles hard, runs hard, but more importantly has speed to go, which we lack.

we have HEAPS of depth right now, and we should use it, players who play well in the vfl like, charlie, jones, birss and gwilt did, should get a game.
