A bit of an over reaction?

Post: # 542259Post Sam23 »

f*** i'm furious at the moment! Terrible terrible match!

But

calls for

Xavier, Dal, Ball, Ross Lyon after tonights result and saying we will probably be 2-5 and stuff is a bit of an over reaction.

As Ross said, it's disappointing, a lot went wrong, but it ISNT a huge bump in the road.

He said their will be changes so I expect 2 or 3, but hey, we are 2-1.

Regroup and tackle the benchmark team next week.

The next 3 weeks (Geelong, Essendon, Port) will give us an indication at where we are at.

A 75 point turnaround is not a big deal for a club that's a real contender in SEPTEMBER and has had the best list for the last five years.......

Fantastic effort by us. 37 up at 1/4 time and losing by 38 is nothing in round 3.

Lots of positives out of tonight and we'll just burst out and smash the Cats next Saturday arvo.

Go us.

A fair point. I only hope we dont have a percentage less than 80 after we get through this.

Geelong fast and furious with a working forward line.
Essendon, a team of speed just like the Bullies who will be wanting to reestablish their position over the next 2 weeks,
Port, team that perennially beats us with teh old flogging.

Remember the Titans "Attitude reflects Leadership, Captain"

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Certainly not claiming the season's over.

Personally I have been disappointed by the first three games.

I saw an ugly win against Sydney - yep great to have the 4 points obviously - but ugly ugly football.

Carlton - we have a game plan of just smashing them.

We won ugly against them late last year - cos they needed to lose - and we won ugly against them last week - cos they need to set up a bottom two finish - nah because they kicked the last three goals in the last four minutes.

Tonight we jumped early and got 37 up.

We were then flogged mercilessly in a 75 point turnaround. In anyone's books that is a smashing.

I am just wondering where we are at, at the moment.

Geelong have the Dees this Sunday, then us next week.

I've been to most of their games, including NAB, and they look like they've picked up beyond where they left off last year.
