Umpires a week on after tunneling.

Post: # 538931Post LENNY LEADS THE WAY »

Was happy to watch the game this week without the worry of roo landing on his head and doing serious damage to his neck or knee but did others think that roo got a tough run with some of the over the shoulder decisions?

Did going to the AFL go against us as they didn't want to be percieved as giving roo special treatment and was a little my harsh on him compared to other over the shoulders paid?

Or am i being a knob?

Roo got absolutely nothing from the yellow peril tonight. Umpire "Dick"Head lead the way and the other tools just followed his lead all night.

Roo was absolutely manhandled tonight in comparison to what was paid at the other end.

Amazing coincidence given that the club complained about his treatment last week and the Umpire's boss was forced to publicly admit they had not paid him 1 and maybe 2 legitimate frees.

I had that thought too. There was virtually nothing Jarred Waite couldn't do, over the shoulder, in the back, contact to the head, etc.

And Maxie could do virtually nothing.

That 50 paid against Nick was rubbish too.

Speaking of tunneling, anyone notice the Carlton banner -

Q: How do you stop the saints marching in?
A: take their legs out from under them

Very clever and witty I thought. I laughed.

clever and witty, two words you'd never use describing our banners.....

anyway, Roo got slaughtered tonight, at least 3 frees he should have recieved but didn't, up the other end they were handing them out for nothing
